New employees

Jason Miller joined the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust on Oct. 14 as a senior claims examiner in the Workers’ Compensation Department. Miller has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from the University of Michigan-Flint. Prior to joining the League, he worked for Minneapolis Public Schools as a senior claims examiner and supervisor handling workers compensation claims. 

Eurel Nwachi joined the League of Minnesota Cities as public administration intern on Sept. 10. Prior to joining the League, Nwachi worked as a management intern for the City of Plymouth and as a graduate assistant for the Huskies Food Pantry at St Cloud State University. She has a bachelor’s degree in social work from St Cloud State University and will complete her master’s degree in public administration from St. Cloud State in December 2024.

Gabe Johnson joined the League of Minnesota Cities as a workers’ compensation attorney on Sept. 5. Johnson has a bachelor’s degree in organizational management/human resource management form the University of Minnesota and a law degree from California Western School of Law. Johnson has experience in the area of workers’ compensation from both the defense and plaintiff side.

Brooke Brightweather joined the League of Minnesota Cities as temporary receptionist on Aug. 14.
